At our two-day Mobility Clinics, exclusively designed for amputees and individuals with limb differences, people of all ages and abilities will have the opportunity to learn basic, intermediate, and comprehensive running techniques, setting them on a path to enhanced mobility and fitness.  

Guided by expert Amputee Coaches with specialised knowledge in mobility training and further supported by Össur Ambassadors, individuals who have triumphed over their own challenges, this clinic goes beyond conventional training. Alongside these, we offer a diverse lineup of activities to cater to everyone's interests and abilities, whether it's Taekwondo, Yoga, Football, Lawn Bowls, or more – there's something here to suit you.

What is the Mobility Clinic?

The Mobility Clinic is a 2-day event designed for amputees of all ages and abilities, as well as health care professionals. Amputees will learn basic, intermediate and comprehensive prosthetic mobility & running techniques. The Mobility Clinic will focus on amputee walking, running and sports.

What is the registration fee for?

The Mobility Clinic event is a not-for-profit event. The registration fee is to confirm your attendance at the event. All registration fees collected will contribute towards the overall costs of the event including catering and venue fees.

Are there any activities or presentations that are tailored for professionals working with amputees?

The Clinic features presentations from our expert prosthetist, physiotherapist and running coaches. These presentations are for all attendees but supply clinical information for the attending health professionals. The Clinic is a “hands-on” learning experience for professionals.   

You are paired with an amputee for the clinic and will assist them in all aspects: running, exercises, mobility activities and sports. Amputees attending the clinic are of all ages, abilities, and levels of amputation. We have had unilateral, bilateral and quadrilateral amputees attend past clinics.  

Do family and friends have to pay/register separately?

Yes, friends and family are more than welcome to come alone and will have to register for a ticket. This ticket will cover lunch costs.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is plenty of on-site parking available at the venue. Please adhere to the local road rules/speed limits and only park in marked parking lots. 

Where can I book nearby accommodation?

Accommodation options will be provided in your confirmation email when you register.

What can I bring to the event?

T-shirts will be provided for all registered attendees. Please wear comfortable, sport appropriate clothing. Lunch and water will also be available for registered attendees throughout the day.   

All guests are encouraged to pack light refreshments and lunch as we can only guarantee lunch for registered attendees.   

How does a health care professional register for the Mobility Clinic?

Health care professionals wanting to register for the Mobility Clinic, can register through the Allied Health registration link. Please note that there is a different link for amputee attendees.

What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before your event start date.
