We know there is a growing demand for the Mobility Clinics from our attendees. The Mobility Clinic attendance rate supports the expansion oureventsacross Australia and New Zealand, allowing us to deliver more events, at various locations, more frequently, so we can maintain the quality of the Mobility Clinic experiences. 

Mobility Clinics are not-for-profit events. The Mobility Clinic attendance rates contribute to the delivery of more Mobility Clinics, with improved resources, specialised staff, and tailored solutions. Attendance rates help contribute towards venue, equipment hire, catering, program development and specialised coaching costs. Our commitment to providing more Mobility Clinics remains unchanged, and we are dedicated to positively impacting the lives of amputees and people living with limb difference.

The calculation method considered the NDIS capacity building hourly rate of $AUD47.70 per hour. Since the duration of each of the Mobility Clinic events varies, the attendance rates also vary. 

NDIS plans may encompass various supports categorised into Core, Capacity Building and Capital supports.  When it comes to attending a covering the costs of a Mobility Clinic, participants may opt to access funds through the following line items: 

• Improved Daily Living – Community Engagement Assistance (15_045_0128_1_3) 
• Improved Social and Community Participation – Innovative Community Participation (09_008_0116_6_3)

No, the attendance rate at the Mobility Clinics does not impact your access to prosthetic componentry when using NDIS Funding. This is because prosthetic componentry and Mobility Clinics are billed through NDIS on different codes, and they do not overlap.
