My influence is to inspire others and to make them believe that if I can do it, they can do it too.

My mission is to show that an impairment does not have to be a limitation. You can do so much more than you think.

No matter the handicap, if you want to surpass yourself, you always succeed.

Having a disability does not make one ‘inspirational’. However, hard work, perseverance and determination do.

Keep trying, trying, trying and you will be better at what you want to be.

Once I put the blade on, I fell in love. I always tell people, when I run, I feel like I have 2 feet again.

Everyone should know that there are people out there, such my family, my prosthetist, who has been great at helping me get back on my feet, and the people at Össur who are willing to help out and welcome you with open arms.

I try to show everybody that disability is not a handicap. You can still do anything you want in life.
