Össur Ambassador - Luc lost his leg due to a car accident. He had 27 broken bones, over 400 stitches and 19 surgeries including the amputation where needed to make sure he would survive.

Life Without Limitations - Vicki Golden, known to some in the freestyle motocross community, as “Gnarly Vicki” began riding dirt bikes with her father and brother.

Would I have gone surfing that morning knowing very well moments after jumping in the ocean I would become limbless? Absolutely. A violent encounter with a shark amputated my leg in seconds, and nearly killed me. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Life’s uncanny like that.

한국인 최초 패럴림픽 출전 여자 선수이자 한국 장애인 펜싱의 간판 김선미 선수는 16살 교통사고로 인해 왼쪽 하지를 절단하면서 재활을 목적으로 휠체어 펜싱을 시작하였습니다.

제한 없는 삶 | 모건은 팀 오서 선수 사라와 같은 희귀 조직 질환을 가지고 태어났습니다. PFFD라고 불리는 이 질환으로 인해 모건은 태어날 때 부터 왼쪽 대퇴골이 없이 태어났습니다. 그래서 그녀는 겨우 한 살 때 첫 의족을 착용하기 시작했습니다. 모건은 일상생활 용도로 토탈 니® 주니어와 플렉스 풋® 주니어를 사용합니다.

제 이야기를 통해 다른 사람들에게 동기를 부여하고 영감을 주고 싶어요.

Handed a Greater Purpose

Allison lost her leg to cancer when she was young and went on to become a Paralympic swimmer, mother, and sales rep. This is how Power Knee helps her live her life without limitations.

This life is so beautiful but only because I have allowed it to be. I could have let it take me down a different path but I chose to take the path filled with light and laughter, with learning and adventure.

할 수 있다는 것을 삶을 통해 증명하고 있는 전나라수 선수. 전나라수 선수는 2013년 산업재해로 인해 다리를 절단하게 되었습니다. 절단 후 처음에는 마라톤 선수로 활동을 시작하였습니다. 다양한 스포츠를 시도하며 역도에 매력을 느끼게 되었고 지금은 장애인 역도선수로 전향하여 활발히 활동하고 있습니다.

Össur Ambassador - Hawaii native and Össur Ambassador Mike Coots is a surf champion, professional photographer and passionate outdoorsman. Mike won the GoPro Hero award in 2013 and was a finalist in the World Adaptive Surfing Championship in 2015.
