Tim Phillips
B.Sc., C. Ped (C), Clinical Supervisor

Tim is a Certified Pedorthist and brings over 15 years of experience to the Orthotics field. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2001. His passion for Orthotics and Bracing began with a practicum placement and has evolved into a very rewarding career in which he has received invaluable training along the way. He enjoys solving challenges with ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking as there is rarely a textbook solution.

Outside of work he enjoys being active, which usually means chasing after his young family. He recently survived his first Triathlon and is excited about training and completing more.

Emma Simpson
Clinical Sales

Emma started her career in orthopaedics as an injury management consultant at a clinic in Ontario. Emma’s passion for physical activity and the outdoors brought her to Vancouver in August 2018. Her clinical experience and desire to help people stay active led her to Ӧssur. In her spare time, you can find Emma in the pool doing synchronized swimming, outside hiking, running or exploring new places.

Leanne Carson
B.Sc. (H.Kin), C. Ped (C), Clinic Administration

Leanne has always been passionate about health and fitness; she believes that staying mobile and active is an integral part of enjoying life. She is a Kinesiologist but also has a background in dance, teaching, personal training, group training, and acute sports medicine. She thrives when she sees people regain their mobility and activity level, allowing them to maximize their potential! When Leanne isn’t working, she is enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Sammy Chung
Clinician

Sammy's interest in orthopedics and bracing grew from her passion in helping people overcome physical challenges as well as reach their goals in active living. Sammy joined the Össur team shortly after graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2022 and has been gaining valuable clinical experience since then. Outside the clinic, you can find Sammy exploring the woods of BC, relaxing at the beach, or skateboarding with friends.

Nicholas Coulter
Clinician

Nicholas found himself at Össur through his passion of rehabilitation and helping others reach and maintain their health goals; the concept of orthopedics and bracing allows him to put his passion into practice.  He joined the team following his graduation from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2024, where he learned valuable biomechanical and anatomical knowledge through his experiences as a student therapist and volunteer in numerous environments.  In his time off, Nicholas spends most of his time staying active in a variety of activities, mostly Soccer, bouldering and hiking; usually, a combination of those activities and photography, his other passion, is to be expected.

Karen Conroy
Clinician

Karen is an experienced Orthotist who graduated from Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom in 2021 and has joined the Össur team in Vancouver. Prior to joining the Motion Labs, Karen worked in busy Orthotic clinic in Ireland where she had the privilege of working with a broad range of clients with complex needs. Karen has a keen interest in biomechanics and the fundamentals of gait. She is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for her clients, enthusiastic to learn about their goals and work with them to help achieve the best results.

Chanel Britton-McIsaac
Clinic Administrator

During her time at Össur Chanel has gained a passion for health and wellness and providing a welcoming environment for those who visit Össur. Chanel is a multifaceted individual with interests in the health sector, as well as a background in psychology. When she is not in clinic, you can find Chanel out for a run, doing a puzzle, or planning her next backpacking adventure.

With a background in IT and customer service, Adrian strives to offer a comfortable and convenient experience for every Össur patient. With an increasing interest in bracing and orthopaedics, he is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in this field. Outside of work, Adrian likes to go for a bike ride or play badminton.
