Today marks eight years since the world embraced the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that were adopted to achieve a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable society.

Together with UN Global Compact á Íslandi, we are proudly flying the SDG Flag at our Össur Head Office in Iceland today to show our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Össur is proud to support the SDGs and we have specifically chosen six global goals where we can make the most contribution:

• #5 Gender Equality
• #8 Good Employment and Economic Growth
• #12 Responsible Consumption and Production
• #13 Climate Action and
• #16 Peace and Justice.
