Knee Pain Relief
Unloader One X improves mobility by providing pain relief, offering the knee support for osteoarthritis and degenerative meniscal tears.
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative knee condition affecting the cartilage within the joint (the connective tissue connecting the bones). Due to any number of reasons (previous injuries, age etc) this cartilage can begin to wear away leading to bone on bone contact which prevents the bones in the joint moving seamlessly. This added friction in the joint can be painful, affect movement and lead to reduced mobility of the sufferer.
The Unloader One X features the unique, patented and clinically proven 3-Point Leverage System which generates unicompartmental unloading of the knee joint. In other words the brace works by offloading the pressure from the affected side of the knee to the least affected side (as osteoarthritis will target the entirety of the knee joint). It is this action which reduces bone on bone contact and with it reduces pain levels leading to improved mobility and why it remains the most clinically studied arthritic knee support on the market.
It’s important to note that the Unloader One X should be used as part of your overall treatment pathway including exercise, physiotherapy and lifestyle changes to gain the best possible outcome and delay or even prevent the need for knee surgery.

The carbon hinge of the Unloader One X is now just comprised of 4 components, thus delivering a lightweight, robust solution that surpasses expectations. With a remarkable 70% reduction in components – from 14 components to just 4 components - the carbon hinge offers simplicity without compromising strength or durability. Tool-free flexion and extension stops – omit the need for extra tools.
New Sensil Technology
Keeping a brace firmly in the correct position is the cornerstone of a comfortable & successful outcome for your patient’s knee. Sensil is printed onto the thermoformed padding, meaning it contours exactly to the fit and 3D shape of the structure. Silicone is printed on the areas which come into direct contact with the skin, reducing further waste.
