Direct Socket TT is a socket solution for transtibial amputees of all activity levels. With the use of the Direct Socket materials and tools, the fabrication process is standardized. The materials are provided in material kits where each kit provides all the consumables needed to fabricate one socket. All necessary tools are provided in the Direct Socket Tool kit. One of the key tools for a well-fitting Direct Socket TT is the Icecast bladder and pump, a single chamber pressure-casting system designed to optimally distribute pressure to shape soft tissue during casting.
