Corporal Anthony Grove in Falkland Islands triathlon

A British Army Engineer whose work involves clearing landmines in the Falkland Islands off the Argentinian coast has completed a demanding triathlon, raising valuable funds for British military veterans who may have lost a limb while in action. After a 60km bike ride the chilly Atlantic waters were literally breathtaking, but Corporal Grove went on to run home in good time.

In the bitter cold of November the 5th, Richard Whitehead (30) from the UK was one of the many international runners among the crowds of native New Yorkers and other Americans lining up for the annual NY Marathon.
