Icelock® 500 Series
Lightweight easy to clean expulsion valves.
Both Icelock Expulsion Valve 551 and 552, are designed to be used with all vacuum suspension systems. The valves are positioned in a housing that seals securely against the inner surface of the hard socket near the distal end. The valves expulse air under positive pressure when, entering a socket. During removal of the prosthesis the valve needs to be triggered to allow air back into the hard socket.

Recall of Two Lots of Icelock® Expulsion Valve 551, LOTS 81010 + 90520
Ossur hf. has announced
a voluntary worldwide
recall of the
Icelock Expulsion Valve 551.
The affected valves are from LOT#CO081010 and LOT# CO090520 and were manufactured between November 2008
and May 2009.
The LOT# can be found on the product packaging.
All replacement valves have gone through additional testing and are specialy marked with Ossur logo and LOT# on the release button.
