Why Iceross®?
Iceross stands for Icelandic Roll-On Silicone Socket. It was developed by Össur Kristinsson, a prosthetist and prosthetic user, as an alternative suspension system to more conventional methods. It functions to protect the skin, enhance comfort by reducing pressure peaks within the socket, and to eliminate motion between the socket and residual limb. Iceross is available in a range of suspension designs to suit different residual limbs and lifestyles.
Active Skin Care
Active Skin Care ingredients incorporated into the silicone migrate to the outer layers of the skin helping to maintain healthy, strong skin.

Double Durometer
A stiffer outer layer of DermoSil® silicone provides outstanding stability, while a softer DermoGel® inner layer nurtures the skin and provides shock absorption and comfort.
Fabric Cover
The ultra-strong and stretchable nylon outer cover from provides extreme wear and tear, strength, and durability. The nylon outer cover is built for exceptional durability, the cover also increases radial stretch and comfortable elasticity.
Menthol
Menthol is one of our active skin care ingredients, offering the added benefit of a pleasant, fresh smell. The Japanese have been enjoying its properties for over 2000 years. Widely used to relieve minor irritations, menthol has a cooling and calming effect on the skin.

Stabilizing Matrix
Reinforced fabric integrated into the distal end of the Iceross® liners eliminates longitudinal stretching of soft tissue. Iceross Transfemoral® and Iceross® Upper-X liners have a full-length matrix incorporated into the fabric cover.

Wave
The Wave feature makes the liner easier to flex at the knee, allowing it to adapt more to the user's movements. The liner effectively reduces pressure around the patella and in the popliteal area during knee flexion providing superior comfort.
