UK Tsunami victim cycles from Vietnam to Cambodia

Caught up in the 2004 Asian Tsunami, Fiona Callanan lost her right leg as a result of her injuries. Her subsequent "return to normal life" brought sharply into focus for Fiona the benefits of excellent medical care. The Limbless Association's annual Prosthetic & Orthotic Awards honor individuals who have been an inspiration, a role model and a symbol of hope, as well as healthcare professionals who have made a sustained and significant contribution to the rehabilitation service.
