First ISPO congress in Czech Republic

The beautiful city of Prague was the venue for the very first ISPO scientific congress to be held in the Czech Republic this month. The one-day conference on June 13 brought together international presenters and participants from the fields of prosthetics, orthotics, biomechanics, rehabilitation, surgery and universities, with a clear focus on multidisciplinary approaches in prosthetics and orthotics.

Triple Expedition II - Dutch duo on Icelandic mission to highlight cystic fibrosis

This week, Jesaja Bouman and Joeri Rooij from the Netherlands rolled into Reykjavik at the end of a unique 250-mile expedition in Iceland, a trip that has taken them across the lava fields, over mountains, past active volcanoes and through almost 80 streams and rivers. Sponsored by Ossur, the pair are on a mission to raise awareness and funds for the crippling illness, cystic fibrosis.
